From the urban sprawl of Texas to the vast Alaskan Arctic, Dr. Barrett has studied air quality across North America and has published his results in high-end peer reviewed scientific journals over the past 9 years at Baylor University and the University of North Texas.
Tate is the owner and chief scientist of Barrett Environmental LLC, a mold and air quality assessment consulting firm in McKinney, TX. Barrett Environmental’s goal is to educate clients on the importance of indoor air quality, and how clean indoor air equates to a healthier, happier life. Barrett Environmental uses a variety of indoor environmental testing methods to identify potential problem areas in the indoor environment, and provide solutions to ensure that your indoor environment is contributing to a high quality of life.
Much of my work has been research focusing on contaminants in the air we breathe.
